These animations were made within 14 hours during the evening and night right after each race. We designed and built all 20 paper race cars and various track parts in advance, however animating the action in such a short amount of time can best be compared to... a Formula 1 race. 

It was thrilling, exhausting and went super fast. We depended on our skills and technical equipment. There were some nice victories and the audience liked the performance. But even though we started well prepared, like in a true Formula 1 race, sometimes we didn’t finish at all.

After this project we created a short animation of a paper race car spinning donuts on a race track. Just for fun.
